Hi there gang! The hospital and asylum should have three leads (board members in character). We have one vacant seat and both Leigh and I feel its time someone stuck their butt in it.

The hospital and asylum have stabilized after major changes to improve on traditional role play while taking both facilities in new directions. Applicants should:
-Carry on the spirit of these changes by bringing new ideas to the table. We refuse to rest on laurels and want to develop medical RP even further.
-Be able to work as part of a 3 person team and understand that some things may come down to votes. Ability or willingness to learn how to use collaboration tools (Google Docs is our current go to) will help tremendously.
-Uphold the standards of the group in the moment and work with the entire team to change policies/procedures/whatever to make RP better the next time around.
-Contribute to the monthly event.
-Contribute to the day-to-day role play of the hospital/asylum (enter charts, see patients, etc.) This does not have to be in a medical capacity as we do have guard roles but note that a lead should not make turning away patients the norm.
-Be able to play broadly across the hospital and asylum. Leadership is not a good place to be ultra-specialized in just one field of medicine (e.g. gyno or psychiatry) or one type of RP (good or bad).
-Be able to foster both good and evil staff members within the walls of the hospital/asylum. It is our core tenet to provide a platform that allows both types of RP to coexist.
-Attend the monthly leader meetings or reply to the minutes thread posted in the leader's sub-forum. Note that these meetings are for DE group leads and are separate from the optional DEMH/Asylum OOC staff meetings.

No hospital/asylum experience is required. We will gladly bring anyone up to speed on how we do things and why.

To apply, follow the SIM's business application process.
