Hi everyone!

Sooooooooo, on the 16th we had some super crazy winds whip through my neck of the woods. In fact, they are still blowing (and even brought snow this morning - bleh).
Well, this wind knocked out the power for a couple of hours. When we got power back, I tried starting up my computer only to learn that everything was running but the computer itself. I called a geek friend to get his opinion, and he thinks it's my power supply. He tells me what I need, so I headed out to the store with the computer to get a new power supply.
It turns out I hadn't been the only one in to get one. Anyway, the geek from the Geek Squad grabbed something off the shelf and gave it to me. I thought I could trust myself to install it without their help.
I got home and was all ready to install the thing only to learn he sold me the wrong part.
I called geek friend back, and it could be now that they don't sell the model I need anymore.
My computer is really old.
I'm waiting now to see if I can find something for it and have someone to install it for me. I'm not a computer nerd and when I looked at all the wires and attachments, I just about started to cry...LOL.

So the point to all of this is that I am without a computer until I get it fixed or get something new. Have I mentioned how much this sucks?
