Events
With so many people coming into the sim and the new areas we’ve built the past year, I am going to take charge in organizing events and building a team of leads and willing participants:

I’d like to host themed OOC and IC events/parties/etc. in different parts of the sim.
Encourage group leaders to organize on a regular basis – making sure anything that requires some planning would be organized into an event and posted onto the calendar (ie. fire dept training, parties at businesses, etc.)
Focus on creating some ideas around getting new players to network; they could work closely with the mentors and story weaving team. Make sure your notices are turned ON in the Leader's group!

Nadir has asked all of the Admins/GM's to take certain sections under our wing, so if anybody wants to be apart of the Events team, let me know! I am your official captain. I can help you plan events, pick out good days that will work best for traffic and without stepping on other events toes, figure out good locations both IC and OOC, help decorate, create event posters, get you on the calendar and the Twitter feed, Newspaper, etc.

- I have already created an interchangeable poster with clickable information that I've passed to a few of the Business Leaders to rezz. As long as I've got your item rights I can swing by and update them quickly and efficiently with new ads, so get with me In World if you still need one! We can update people better in world with Sim Storylines, business info, event dates, specials, and the like. If you would also like me to create a poster/ad for you I can definitely do that.

- I would like Business Leaders to have at least one event once a month, such as the 'Topless' dates at the Red Herring. They don't have to be large sim wide parties but you do need to be pitching in at least once a month with something to gather business to your shop and create role play.
