Dear Staff,

The well-fare of our patients is our highest priority at the DEMH, and as Doctors and healers, we are bound by the Hippocratic oath. This is why we were very upset to learn that the availability of prescription drugs on the streets of our community has increased recently.

The Board would like to make it abundantly clear that dispensing drugs without legitimate cause will not be tolerated at DEMH. All medications issued must be prescribed by a licensed Doctor. Furthermore, any prescriptions for Oxycotin will merit an automatic review by the Board. Any staff member found to be distributing regulated substances without a license or for non-medical purposes will receive administrative leave upon their first offense, and termination for the second offence.

Thank your for attention and cooperation.

Sincerely,

The Board.
