Why is it that everyone as has to offer an autobiobraphy when emoting. I finding that we are getting a tad too pretentious in the way we emote here in DE. When I ask for a drink at Lulu's, I do not have to hear (read) every little detail of what the avi is thinking amd what colour she should is thinking of painting her toe nails after I have ordered a glass of wine. Action with one or two short lines does that in itself. Has anyone here read Hemingway or MacCarthy. Minimalism works for good story telling. Get the story moving. I have two wait 2 hours in rl time to emote a very simple interaction these days. I think we need to discuss on how to emote and get the rp proceeding at a good pace, which would be especially helpful for those of us who have a limited period we go on line.
