Faerie LindleysaidThe Cinema TYPE: SLURL: BACKGROUND: The biggest thing about the theater is it's key location in the center of the city. This allows for a very interesting approach to things. One of the most important things is that in it's central location it allows for information to be absorbed. The amount of people that tread through the square, the conversations that are had there. For a normal person, those conversations are of no use. But to someone whom thrives on information... It's a gold mine. The direction of the business would flow from Cas, a recently resigned Sergeant from the DEPD, finding the place, and ultimately using it to obtain information. The theater needs active people around it to draw in RP, and in doing so, one must be vigilant on having themselves, and/or employees present to ensure that people become involved. UNIQUE: While seemingly just a normal theater, I will ensure that events are thrown on a regular basis to draw new people in. I also have some ideas for allowing the theater area to be used for larger group meetings. Say, if the PD needed a place to have a sexual harassment seminar, or something of the sort. It would be open for other groups to do much the same. It offers a nice, easily accessible point in the city and it has room for larger meetings. In addition to this, the theater will serve as a front for information brokering. Of course, this will only be gathered via legitimate IC means. Information will be sold, and used for leverage against others, and to make deals with other groups. EXPERIENCE:I love engaging Roleplay, and strive to try to fit as many people into things as possible. I've been a member of the DEPD for quite some time now, and before leaving it, will be of the rank Sergeant. This involves helping to lead others, and scenes. I love interacting with others, and helping to lead larger RP. IDEAS:The theater, as said prior, is in a great spot in town. It allows those newly arriving to be one of the first things seen. Having someone there, even to just greet them will make a lasting impression. Being able to actively help people, and even that bit of being able to keep some kind of active story after that initial meeting. Perhaps they spill that they're rather wealthy? Well that could be quite handy to some one, surely. Those who sign up for the business will do much the same. They'll have a position in an active part of town, with tons of potential for roleplay. That is ultimately what we are all here for. Whether they simply attend the stand, and collect information, or are helping to throw a party, sponsored by the theater. There will be plenty of engagement for everyone. OTHER:If approved, we'd likely start by throwing a large party, with tons of booze, popcorn, and porn for the whole city. Hopefully, I will be able to set something up with one of the local bars to provide the alcohol. This would also allow for a lasting relationship there. Whether the party be directly in the theater, or extend into the square, it would be a rather large bash! It would also allow me to speak with other business owners about possible uses of the theater! |
