<b>Easy 8s Billiards </b>

BACKGROUND: I'd like to see the 8s host more events. As a citizen of DE, I've seen adverts for Pizza Slut, Lulu's and the Dark Room. It is, after all, a pool hall. Why not start a bi-weekly or weekly pool tournament or trick shot competitions once a month?(Which may or may not be doable). Another idea would be to combine the efforts of two businesses (8s and Lulu's bartenders having a competition to make drinks or 8s and Pizza slut getting together to sponsor the other, so on..) to sponsor/host events, fundraisers and even block parties to raise the reputation of the 8s and the unity of the community. I'd also like to see the drink menu extend a bit more. As of right now, it's the normal kind of stuff, but having our bartenders off up monthly specials to people may get more business for the drinkers. The other thing I'd like to do is offer security at the 8s. I'm not sure that it officially offers it, and if not, I think it's needed. Having been a doorman myself, I've been the difference between many fights that could have ended badly and instead ended with the parties walking away, or at least moving it into the square. When I first started in DE, I worked at Lulu's. My first day was a nervous one. Not having anybody there to help me out when problems arose was also a terrifying experience. A new employee could potentially be assigned someone to 'train them in.' Assuming there is someone available to do so. I haven't looked over the notecards, as of yet, but including a list of responsibilities of that specific shift would be useful. While Lucas would run the show, his wife Thera would mostly be doing the business end of it, hiring and paperwork. Making sure the place was stocked and everyone was happy. Lucas would be by to host the events, come up with the new ideas and kick them off. To make sure his wife wasn't overwhelmed or to check on new and old employees and ensure everything was running smooth. His business partner Zeke would run the security end of things and make sure the place stayed in tact.

UNIQUE: I'd like to see it stand out as a pool hall and not just another bar. In all honesty, my first impression of the 8s was that it was just a bar with pool tables. I'd like to amp up the RP focus around it being a pool hall and possibly ensure events are done every week.

EXPERIENCE:ICly, Lucas used to be a cop. He's used to taking charge and making quick and good decisions. He knows how to handle people when confronted or how to sort out issues. He's never ran a business but he's been itching to get his hands on his own business. He has good ideas and will work hard in order to see the business succeed. OOCly; I have been in law enforcement/security for years so I have the same qualities I put into Lucas. I have been a supervisor/manager of businesses and safety team leads of others. I know the work involved and I'm willing to put forth the effort. I have a good team willing to work hand in hand with me and the people already employed by the 8s are amazing.

IDEAS:Getting others involved can often be a difficult process. Offering an environment that welcomes new visitors instead of ignoring them or immediately being hard on them can be the difference in a person becoming a regular or someone refusing to come back ever again. Offering your help when someone appears to be struggling or even engaging them in RP when others won't is something I've done in the past and will continue to do in the future. If they sign up to work at the business, I'd like to meet them, personally, hear any ideas they may have for future RP/events and even get someone involved with them to RP a training period.

OTHER:Considering Lucas is a biker, he'd probably look to re-open with a huge party. With drink deals and free pool to anybody who comes dressed in biker leathers!
