I am bringing this topic up because I am having an understanding being in the bdsm lifestyle for about 19 to 20 yrs.. Now I notice some might misunderstand it as being the slave or sub being a victam or being forced to do what they do not.. but really in my experience a d/s relationship is not about trickery or forcing someone into something they do not wish it is like most relationships it's give and take and take trust to establish.I also feel being a slave or a submissive doesn't make someone weak.I have been told by an individual that it's bdsm and so a victim wouldn't fight back when faced with rape or being attacked..I really feel that isn't bdsm but a harsh act and realistically even a submissive would defend themselves against a stranger who seeks to harm them..I am bringing this up because I feel that DE was not intended to be a full on BDSM land but a a world where everyone struggles to survive with a hint of bdsm type of play in general.I just feel this is needed to clear up any misunderstandings I or anyone else might have because the better the understanding the easier someone might have to better their experience..
