Hey Dead End! I just wanted to share what I think should become common RP etiquette while playing in our Sim.

If you want to break into a business, rob, vandalize, or even just rape someone in a shop - be it Sim Owned or Player Owned, I think we all should remember it's polite to send the Owner a quick OOC message. Depending on the extent of the damage, asking permission is a grand idea, and since we're all here to play out trouble, I don't think many of us would turn down what your devious minds can come up with. It's just kind to keep players in the loop of what's happening within their business!
For example as the Owner of both Lulu's and Irezumi, I do have security cameras installed. I've never turned someone away for wanting to start drama, but I do like to take pictures to send out in my groups for a little added fun. Plus, then I have something to report to the police with! It helps give cops something to do, keeps staff informed, etc. And on the plus side, if it's a player owned business, we can decorate accordingly. When Irezumi got broken into and flooded I actually trashed my store and flooded the basement for a few days.

I don’t think everyone needs to be quite as in detail as I am (I’m just a stickler for realism and I love doing what I can for added effect), but a message letting business owners know what’s going on is a kind gesture I think everyone should start practicing.
