Tinkel is a novel writer and artist who decided to leave her life in NY to travel on the road, with no particular destination, searching for for inspiration to her work. Unfortunatelly, her car broke miles away from a strange town called Dead End. After walking all the way to get help, when returning with a mechanic to the place where the car was, she finds it was stolen with all her belongings except for the backpack she walked around with. So she is forced to stay at Dead End with only a backpack stuffed with clothing and some money in her pocket.

Meanwhile, the strange dark aura of the city and its inhabitants, tease her curiosity to investigate the underworlds of Dead End.
