cheesy lyrical quote aside, time's an issue here or in any RP sim.

It's always night in Deadend (and sunny in philadelphia apparantly, which is an assertion i beg to differ on). This creates problems in that clearly it cant be night 24 hours a day, so then in a 24 hour period are we experience 1 day? 2 days? during the summer three days?

While the discussion may seem a bit academic, it has actual RP implications. For instance, lets say i am buying cocaine from some shady figure in a bar, i tell said shady figure i need to meet him back in 2 days with the money. I believe this 2 days to be 2 rl days, he shows up 16 hours later to beat my ass.

Similiarly, you "disappear" for 2 months ic to go to a mental hospital, but in fact oocly you leave for 2 days. You've in fact forced the rest of us to either A) disbelieve you were gone because only 2 days have passed or B) accept that in fact 2 months have passed for us all, which is kinda bullshit.

I think we need some sort of general agreement, that 24 rl hours is 24 DE hours, just for ease of rp and administerability.
