Thieves have always been around in Dead End. Small time criminals that pick pockets or steal condoms at the Quickie Mart, burglars that break into houses and shops in the night when nobody is looking, it's always been a nuisance and yet it's never been a major issue. After all, with all the kidnappings, rapes and murders going on, who cares about sneaky fingers? But what happens if thieves organize themselves? What if theft is performed on a much wider scale? What if the shadows gain focus?

Already the city has experienced a rise in property crimes over the last few months. But that has only been the start. The Pawns are rising slowly. Keep your doors and windows locked. Although, that won't matter much to us.
