its been just over a week since I first arrived here, already I can the wax and wane of the limitless void that encircles this terrible place. The board of directors at Miskatonic might be right on the mark in regards to this.. Dead End. Thankfully though I've encountered a mix of skeptics and believers of what lies beyond the world of common perception, all of them possessed by a common fear that clings to their backs and stalks them around each turn like a pack of rabid hounds.. Really though, its nearly enough to cause even the most tempered of minds to stagger just trying to take a casual stroll down the streets, looking down at me feet instead to try and retain some focus and only to find refuge in the arms of the cracked and dirty sidewalk riddled with refuse and the stains.

I will persevere though, this city is jungle as bad as any of the ones in South America. If I can survive there I can and will do so here as well.
