Hey everyone. I read my e-mail today and I saw a message from Flak about the importance of creating crime reports. The e-mail said that if she notices anyone who has not created a crime report within 30 days, that person will be kicked out of the Dead End Police Department. Now, this would not be such a big deal to me, however, it is a big deal for three main reasons...

1: The entire Sim is quite heavy with lag...Very heavy to be honest. I often find my viewer crashing on me whenever I am RPing there with three or more other people. And before anybody asks me, yes I did try using Firestorm, however, I found the lag on there to be much worse than on the normal SL viewer.

2: How can we be expected to write out a crime report if there is not much crime to be seen? At least I have not run across any crime lately. Maybe I am not on Dead End often enough, but I have been RPing on there lately.

3: In order to gain a rank up, a person must complete and submit 15 crime reports. Now to me, this is a lot. It's not as bad as 20 or 25 reports, but it certainly doesn't make it easy to rise through the ranks. Now I am not whining or anything, but I think it would be much easier to ask for no more than 10 crime reports. Or better yet, 5 crime reports and maybe 2 or 3 citations. Yes, I do realize the HUD is easy to use, but I also think the quality of reports a DEPD rookie or officer like me writes up matters a lot.

If these three above issues can be improved somehow, then I will be likely to want to RP in Dead End a lot more often than I have been. And maybe if some RPers would be a little more welcoming to me and Donna-Lynn Sullivan, we would each be spending at least 1 hour in Dead End or more and actually RPing and not just standing or sitting around, IMing each other about how unfriendly some people in SL are.

Just our thoughts and observations on this. No negative comments please.
