Having just spent a week there, I have a few thoughts.

1) The casino remains my favorite build in Dead End, as far as hangouts go. Its spacious, with multiple rp spots to separate rpers if they so desire. There's ostensibly things to do there besides drink and cry in your beer. All in all, i really like this build.

2) The casino provides a lot of great opportunities for rp, if people are willing to use it. Casinos give people a reason to have a little cash in their pocket... and they also destroy lives. Gambling is its own vice and the casino could really have a central role in a lot of people's rp, from the degenerate gambler, to his long suffering mate, to the loan sharks he's in to.

3) If you rp somewhere, they will come. All it took to have a crowd in the casino every night was people to understand there were other people there. Dots breed dots.

4) The location isn't a problem, but the mystery of its location IS a problem. RP at the casino could really take off with a sign. If you put it at the Bridge, something sizable but not too sizable, I think the casino would see a lot more traffic. It could hearken back to when there might have been some money in Dead End, when shipping was coming in and dock workers and lake sailors had money to blow. Maybe the sign's fallen into disrepair, its streaked and its old, but it says casino and has a big arrow pointing towards the door.
