Hello in this notecard we describe to what the tazer does, and how officers can handle it.

The pistol is a one shot gun. This means if the tazer is fired and misses it needs to be reloaded.

The weapon post round for DE by sim rules is simple.
1 You Draw and Aim in the same post.
2 You fire the tazer off.

Now there can be two ways it goes. Or you hit, or you miss. If you miss the process goes as follow.

1 You have to reload grab a new cartige and load it into the stungun.
2 You can shoot in the second post.

All tazer usage is ALWAYS in two posts. Never in one go. There is no debating this. If this is not done Police officers will be adressed OOCly about it.

Now what happens when a tazer fires off actually?

Firstly as you pull the trigger two metal prods, (Bards) get shot out the gun, there connected to a metal wire, Most of the time its isolated this wire. That connects to the tazer that has a battery inside it. The battery has a currency stored of 50.000 voltage. Normally if this hits a person there muscles spasm together and your unable to move. You will fall on your face and continue to spasm untill the tazer trigger is released or the battery is depleted.

What does this cause as side effects to the human body. While Tazers are considered rather safe devices to take a person down. They can lead to cardio arrest if you tazer a heart patient. Keep this in mind when your using this against someone thats a heart patient.

Most people will go down rather fast. While some will take some more current in there body, its all part of the body resistance, But in 99% of the cases the target gets stunned and disabled. We RP this as a full "post" round to be unable to act after the tazering.

Secondly if the person was hit by the tazer. The police officers can still use that tazer after the first hit. One or Two more post rounds on the target to keep them "sedated" and incapicitated on the floor. So Officers can safely cuff the suspect. Ofcourse if the prods or the pins would leave the body, the tazer wont work.

A tazer will ONLY work if both prods are in the persons body. They send the electricity straight into the persons body. Tazers are so build that if someone else touches the person or tries to grab them (As can be seen on Videos of people being tazered) that the current only stays inside the victims body. It doesnt jump over from target to target. Unlike other electricity.
