Hi all! Intro'ing myself here into the tribe.

My character is a tormented former Yakuza from Kobe Japan. Used by his Kyodai to make money in the underground fighting rings. Takahiro tried to get out of that life through the Oyabun, who covered the bills for him to attend medical school in Kobe and then also used that to keep his own men happy and healthy. Once Takahiro found out who had killed his father and mother when he was 8, he went on a bloody vengeance and killed them both causing a turf war that lead to his own kyodai, and surrogate father to send him to America to avoid being killed himself. Takahiro joined up with the Columtreal University in Hathian, barely learning English, and managed to learn the language thanks to an old friend who ended up losing her memory and forgetting about him completely, and got a secondary degree in forensic pathology and got a legit job for the first time in his life at Hathian General. After nearly getting into the gang life, finding a girl and starting a 'knock off' goods business, he was soon called back to Japan and was signed into an arranged marriage to make amends with his old high school sweetheart, Megumi. Because of being called back to Kobe to the Yamaguchi clan, he couldn't continue to work the streets of Hathian any more, as its a rule of the order that you can't profit from any operation you create without paying tribute to the Oyabun, even in another country. And since he was ostracized from the group if they had found out he would most certainly be gunned down eventually. So he cut his ties to the old 'Black Sand' gang, regrettably, and moved to Dead End, where he now serves as its medical examiner after being involved in the Astaroth Killer case.
