Hey everyone,
Syrus has been hanging around Dead End town for a few days now and in the spirit of the Sim I decided to put off introducing him here until after he had a chance to wander around and meet a few faces.

Syrus is a jovial person first and foremost, always choosing to make light of most situations, and while some would say this is to hide the post traumatic stress he must have suffered during his 15yrs as a army combat engineer airborne ranger his classmates in high school would be quick to point out that he was clown long before he blew up his first obstacle or bagged his first kill in the military.

Growing up Syrus had a pretty easy time. he usually didn't look for trouble and developed a taste for theater and acting. Choosing to pursue a 4yr degree in theater before joining the military. For all of his quick wit and humor Syrus admitted to himself in his teen years that he had a darker side when it came to his interests in female pursuits. there was something about the site of damsels in distress that really aroused him and now a days he'll freely joke that he first learned what an erection was because at the age of nine the site of Jessica Lange being bound up in "King Kong", the site of her beautiful body bound to posts helpless gave him feelings he didn't understand at the time.

As Syrus grew older and access to more adult themed material became accessible he learned more about what these feelings were and that they were far more common in society then he ever imagined and this pleased him to no end. Often he would seek out such like minded individuals and engage in activities of BDSM and various roleplay scenarios and while they helped to sate his particular appetites he always walked away with a small feeling of something lacking in realism.

His military years were far from lacking when it came to expanding his hunger for adventure, excitement and training in various eclectic skills and he served with distinction picking up expertise in various pistols, rifles, MG and explosives both improvised and manufactured ((as well as 3 purple hearts, 5 AAM's and various other awards he never took much stock in)). Syrus also studied Tao Kwan do, Akido and Kendo as his time afforded him between deployments. He left the military a with a 1st sergeants rank and a feeling it was time to move on. Toward the end of his service he had heard rumors about the morally bent nature of Dead End and decided to come in and check it out.

Syrus is no hero, nor does he claim he wants to be. He generally cares about people but his time in the service taught him that you have to pick your fights, stay alive and stupidity suffers. while Syrus can admit his dark side and thoughts he also has them firmly under control, only letting them lose at his discretion (often joking that he only allows himself to be a bad boy on mondays, weds, and saturdays)

1. generally wears leather which gets him mistaken as a biker but in truth he wears it because leather is a cheap and effective body armor against knives and slashing/piercing weapons.

2. usually carries a butterfly knife in his right boot painted black and roll of quarters in his inside jacket pocket along with his cellphone.

3. has 3 older scars on his body: a knife would on his lower back, a bullet would on his left shoulder and another bullet wound on his chest in front of his right lung

4. has noticeable laugh lines around his mouth but hardened lines around his eyes

5. he learned the art of deep tissue massage from an instructor during a stint in South Korea and Kinbaku and rigging from an instructor during a stint in japan.

that's Syrus in a nut shell... if you want to know more you'll have to find out though RP 😀 I look forward to meeting up with everyone in game.
