I've made a proposal for a new faction, well actually it's bringing back a little known old one, reinvented for the new DE. To sum up briefly here, it's, if accepted, concentrating on the sewer system.

When i was creating the proposal for it i slid in a little extra in the form of using it as a place for the Super Villain character(s) to be spawned. DE has, in the past, had characters that resemble something more like a super villain or comic book villain, rather than the usual breed we get here. At this point i will stress that although the characters could be absolutely ridiculous they were great fun and stuck to the sim's theme rather well.

There was Sick Lee, DE's very own Joker, a mad man, dressed as a clown, he caused chaos and destruction where ever he went, the highlight of which was his epic one week siege of the old police station with his assistant.

Stradvarius, a violin wielding and playing kidnapper who used to lead his victims into dark alleys with the sound of his music, highlight, after taking two police officers hostage, his life was ended abruptly when shot by Captain Morrisey in the sewers when she undertook the rescue of her colleagues.

Eva Langenfeld, Twisted and evil uber german, sister to Cleo Mavendorf, her hate for her sister and twisted mind insured that for years DE was plagued by Eva, anyone getting close to Cleo was at risk of suffering at Eva's hand. Highlights, more kidnappings than anyone could possibly recall, her escape from death twice, once in the burning police station and again in the hotel when that went up in flames.

Those are free examples of the larger than life evil characters DE has seen over the years.

I'd like to throw open the debate over this on whether there's an interest out there still to see this kind of character back and hopefully inspire some people to try it out for themselves.
