Shade's Instamix story lines. (( totally trying to do this without sounding like I'm ego tripping, because I'm not))

Selling drugs is fun and easy, but what's really fun is how you do it... Remember finding a supplier in world should be part of the fun...If everyone has their own truck delivering fresh delicious mind altering substances twice a day, then no one needs a dealer... See if you can figure out someone with an IC reason to have drugs and get it from them... Or, try to make friends with a crooked member of the hospital staff... They like fresh story too.. Share with the class...

Pimping aint easy, but everyone loves a blowjob... guys and girls.. If you want a deal, try to get one of our local innocents on your side..Because as crude as it may sound throwing in a willing blow job to someone you're trying to cut a deal with is a great way to seal a deal.. Think about it.. How hard is it for a local business owner to say no to something when one of your girls or guys.. is busy orally working the person you're working with's naughty bits.

We need you to get some insurance.. Shakedowns for protection money are cool, but pick your targets wisely, and never forget.. the mob works because its..... a mob... This goes back to networking. All you're doing is making enemies.. Lots of them.. Choose your battles and your allies.. I don't care if you wrote your character to be a ninja with a cock so big that it doubles as a pole arm... Or for you ladies a super ninja with a razor blade lined va jay jay... You are still going to need help.. I keep hearing one complaint.."I keep on getting ganged up on!" Well, think about it.. you're new, and your in the middle of the bar waving a razor sharp pig sticker at one of the towns more popular characters... People are going to jump in..

On that note I would like to remind some of you that drunks can be your friends... mmmmkay.... Get your prey addicted to what you can get.. narcotics are great for that! If you want to rape them without the pesky police side effects.. there are a shitload of drugs on the marked... Be it the black market.... that cause long term amnesia... some even come in pre loaded syringes.. no risk of killing your vic.. they take a nice nap and they wake up with a mess and some sore spots and no clue what happened..

An enemy of and enemy is my friend.... That being said.. A Friend of my enemy is my enemy... Some people get this some people never think of this, but it leads to some interesting Rp.. If 3 people hate a group of 2... then suddenly the odds are tipped ever so slightly in the group of three's favor..

Pimps, if you're going to be pimping make sure you offer the girls something to keep turning tricks for you.. Be it a drug fix.. A place to stay... money owed.. Whatever it takes.. I've seen other pimps do this to great success... No one wants to give their money that they earned to a pimp who just wants to smack them around and do nothing else.. Pretty soon your Rp is dead...

Cops.... Try investigating stuff... If you're on the take... get someone to be giving you the money to be on the take for.. then actually work in their interest... Even if that means taking out the competition...

Get some gaming dice for IC street corner hustles.. There might be other things available too..

in world gambling on sporting events for RP cash of course... Most people should have a mental idea of how much IC cash they have on hand.. Its illegal to gamble with actual lindens, because they have a cash value.. but if your character only works as a nurse with no other way to make IC cash.. a $1000 dollar bet could be enough to make you very very broke for a few weeks..

Get yourself one of them there addictions.. They're fun and make you want to do really stupid things to get your fix..

Don't be afraid to tarnish that image of yours.... Even the whitest of knight should not be afraid to get his plate mail dirty from time to time.. you're a do gooder doctor who wants to help everyone.. That's great, but every good hero has a flaw... Drinking problem?? Cool!! You dont mind selling the expired meds to the local rapist.. even better.. you don't mind selling the expired drugs to the local drug dealer who in turn supplies them to the local rapist.. You've just made two story lines!! You win!

This one is to Nadir and the other mods.. Can we please either get oked to order pizza and stuff like that in the 911 group, or figure out some way to get a message like that out... Its simple Rp but the place that deliver have no way of knowing if someone wants something.. Not everyone is going to want a pizza slut tag to order with the group... But, there is an untapped resource there... Meaning raped delivery people.. Mugged delivery people. crooked delivery people who can case houses and home owners to later rape and rob them... I love two way streets like that....

Dr Warwick had a great idea with group meetings... Think about your character and how a group session with other people of your mindset would help... What better way to meet women or guys to sexually bend to your will than going to a sex addicts anon session.... Or, what better way to meet someone to buy your drugs than hitting a NA session... These sessions don't even need to be held at the hospital, although I am also sure that they would be served better there... there are a couple of empty offices around town that might be allowed to be over taken... This would of course make it so no one faction rules... and no one faction gets an upper hand over the others....

Factions and support.. Now as harsh as it might seem its really hard to get Rp going in a faction when you have no faction leader... Buildings sit empty... nothing gets done.. I'm not going to call out any one person, but I know everyone starts out running a place with the best of intentions... then they sit in an empty building with their thumbs up their collective asses for a couple of days and get bored.... I don't blame them.. This goes back to networking... If the person or people in charge of a faction or a business in town aren't on its really hard to make story or mingle stories.. I understand that Rl happens, and you have to do things otherwise you're homeless or at the very least your net gets shut off.. I'm just asking that when you do get on maybe make some phone calls via IM to keep story going for the other people.. If that other person isnt on when you get on.. Shoot them a NC in the form of an email....

That being said.. I have typed too much already, and if anyone has any more ideas thoughts or opinions comment and stuff.. remember big plots have to be approved by the staff, and all that... I really hope this helps new players get into a role that fits and people who have been here for a while but seem to be stuck get some fresh ideas... And if nothing else it gave me something to do for a half hour or so...
