Thought I should check in here and introduce myself. I'm new to DE and RP in general, but I've wanted to try for ages. Hopefully I won't go too far wrong, but please feel free to message me with pointers as they'll be gratefully received.

Ok, a little (read, A LOT) about my character, Ruby. Sorry if it's too lengthy!

Ruby came to Dead End when she was just six-years old, dragged here on the whim of her artist Mum, Tansy. Not long after they arrived Ruby had a new 'Daddy' a man as vicious as he was charming. The latest in a long line of 'tortured souls' who obsessed her mother. And the last.

A few weeks before they set off Sarah disappeared without trace. Two years later, with the police case officially closed Ruby had had enough. She needed to get out of Manchester. Deciding to live her life by the motto 'What Would Sarah Do?' she struck out for Dead End, hoping for answers or obliteration.

Bio/Details:

Ruby is 20 years old and quite naive considering her history. Her upbringing has been quite odd and she never had any counselling for whatever she witnessed or experienced around the time of her mum's death in DE. She thinks she's pretty normal, but has a massive case of denial and can sometimes zone out and react in incredibly stupid ways to a situation especially if she thinks something is unfair or feels threatened. She's in good health and is fit with an interest in football and dancing. Prior to coming to DE she was very law abiding, bar the odd drug experimentation with Sarah, but since losing Sarah, she doesn't care quite so much. She mistakes trying to be more like Sarah with doing whatever it takes. She's still quite malleable though and inclined to trust people, even though she'll take moment to think on it first. When she makes a friend she'll do anything for them.

As far as limits go and such, pretty much anything goes although for now I'm drawing a line at her death. I'm just excited about playing!
