I was thinking, now that it is IC knowledge that Kendall and Kelly (and possibly Keiran) are applying for the DEFD Chief job, perhaps at some time this or next weekend we should host a public "Meet Your Candidates" Event, preferably before or right after proposals are put out on the forums for peer review.

Since the selection process is mainly OOC, I believe this event should be both an IC and OOC event, in which candidates can give quasi-IC/OOC statements about their campaign and their qualifications, and members of both the DEFD and DE Community can ask both IC and OOC questions.

I prefer Friday or Saturday nights 6-12 p.m. slt. I don't have many other plans these next two weekends as I am studying for some big tests irl, and will gladly be able to take a study break and log in for this, as long as it is not scheduled between 12-3 a.m. (when I am sleeping).
