Background
Paige grew up with a family of boys, four brothers with one of them being younger than her. Her Dad was in the military and due to this her family moved quite often. Paige was left "in charge" most of the time when her parents were out on military functions. Her parents knew she would "tell" on her brothers.
With moving so frequently, Paige learned how to pack light. She did not make life lasting friends as the girls wanted to be her friend so they could meet her brothers and the boys ran the other way from her- because of her brothers.
Paige did not know when it started but she realized at the age of 15 that she had been sexually abused. She blocked a lot of it out and never knew who she could trust telling while she was growing up. She tried to tell her Mom but was always replied to with, "Don't be silly!"
Present
Paige had had enough of changing schools and moving so frequently that she waitressed and saved enough money to move away from her family while in her home town. She cut her ties with her family and did not have any friends she could count on. Now she finds herself in the community of Dead End, not knowing where to start and who to trust? She walks down the streets of DE and stumbles across the local paper. She looks up the rental ads and contacts a landlord. She pays him, site unseen and cannot find the location. This worries her as she is also looking for work and unsure with her skill-set where she can work to support herself. She is desperate to support herself as she would rather live on the streets than go back to her family. She may look into a roommate- if she can trust anyone enough.
Paige wanders the streets of Dead End hoping the pieces of her life will fall into place.
