Email to all Staff members of DEMH
From- DR Jayant Patel (Intern)

I would like to congratulate DR Cael Haigh (Helio5igma) For his recent successful operation on what I believe may have been his first heart replacement operation. It became apparent to me a few days ago that a patient (Harley Revanati) was brought in with a serious heart condition.

While I have myself performed the operation during my years prior to coming to work here in DE, and we have other staff who specialize in these matters, The recent bout of flu locally has laid low most of the staff here, (myself included) And Cael was placed in the unenviable position of performing the complex operation himself.

Together with the aid of one of our Nurses, Lily Sommers (RN) the operation appears to so far, have been successful, only a hiccup during the filing of paperwork marred the operation (We apparently couldn't find a space on the t36 explosive modulator injury forms regarding patient suffering heart attacks...)

I am unsure if this is, in fact, DEMH's first open heart transplant, and was wondering if any of the more experienced staff could enlighten me if it was?
