Hey all,

Since I consider a good many of you friends of mine, I decided to write this here instead of several individual IMs in world. Due to rl, OOC and IC reasons, I have decided to log Deus out of DE for awhile. ICly, he has taken a job in another city and Andi is unable to go with him due to her pregnancy. Within the next few days or weeks, Andi will receive a notice that Deus is missing and presumed dead after an explosion (up to her when and how she wants to rp that). This will free her character of any IC obligation to Deus and also leave room for me to possibly bring Deus back in the future (since they don't find his body). To be clear, Andi and I are great friends OOC and always will be; we have simply decided this is in the best interest of our rp due to situations beyond our control.

I don't have a lot of time right now to devote to DE due to several rl reasons (rl relationship becoming more serious, renovating one home and trying to prepare another one to sell)...however, DE is something I greatly enjoy when I have time for it, so you will more than likely see me on one of my alts here and there for some simple, non-long-term-story-line type of rp until rl settles down some. My alts are Ash Allerhand (cop)...and a character I named "Completely Random", which I play varying characters on the same account. When and if my rl situation changes, I'll bring Deus back to raise some hell 😀

As for the Welcome Center, I was greatly looking forward to starting that and having it be a positive influence on the sim. I had hoped to have more time to rp and devote to it, but sadly I have not, so I will have to let the idea go for now. Hopefully someone else might want to start one, or hopefully I can have more time in the future to try again.

At some point I hope to have more time to dedicate to rp and will hopefully be able to bring Deus back at that time. As the title of the post says, it's not really goodbye, I'll be around every now and then, though not on Deus, for now...
