Yes, I meant sim wide storylines but not especially the events like...blizzards and such because they are short-lived. What I would like to see is a sim wide plot with...let's say..different chapters. A plot which can be extended during it's progress with new ideas and stories, all being a part of the base story. A very good example of what I mean is the storyline which was created by (the now gone) Mind9Light cult. Their storyline eveolved over time and included almost everyone in DE, every faction, business, ....the DEPD, the DEMH, etc.
We have gangs now in DE, why not...create something with those gangs and the DEPD, a storyline which will reach to every player in DE, which everyone can join if they want. I can see the DEPD being attacked by one of the gangs and their reaction being an all out war of the law, trying to wipe out all the gangs...and the gangs would react by..making temporary truces between them to get back at the PD, taking civilains hostage to use to trade for their fellow gang members in jails, riots, road bloacks, kidnapping, curfews, etc. Not all seperate rp sories but all related to that one mother of storylines as the base of it all.
That would be awesome and it would provide RP to everyone, current rp-ers, new rp-ers, etc.
