After browsing through this thread, I realised I never wrote an introduction post on this forum ( I do remember having one on the old forum which is gone now..) so...here it is: Who is Ming Yheng.

(I created Ming especially for Deadend about 3 years ago)

Born in a little town in some remote province in China, daughter of Xiaosiang Chiung and Ilyana Breil. Her father is Chinese, her mother half Chinese, half Colombian. The village she lived in was called, by the locals, Xiāngcūn wūpó which translates into 'The Village of Witches'. This name came from the fact that in Ming's remote village most of the people were very proficient in dealing with Chinese herbs, using them to brew all types of medicines. It was not uncommon to see non-locals in her village, searching for a cure for their disease.

Ming grew up as a normal, beautiful and popular girl, she was (and still is) the pearl of her large family. Her father, being the leader of one of the largest Triads in Hong Kong divorced from her mother when Ming was 8 years old. Her mother disappeared and her father took Ming with him to Hong Kong. Soon he noticed Ming having a more than common interest in interrogation and she was always watching when one of the Triad's enemies was tortured.

Ming was taught the art of torture and became one of the best in Hong Kong. Her father also taught her Pencak Silat, a martial art style where strength is not needed, speed and imitating the movements of animals in the jungle makes it an outstanding way of fighting when facing stronger and bigger foes. Sadly, when she did her final exam to get the yellow belt, her opponent was her closest friend and she accidently killed her. At that moment Ming swore never to use it again, unless absolutely necessary.

At the age of 24 she was sent to Deadend by her father, with the task to establish a hub for importing drugs from Asia. She managed to set that up quite fast, until she eventually had to deal with the Triad of the Jade Dragon in Deadend. Ming managed to merge her 'business' with that of the local Triad.

Ming decided to stay and she spread her influence throughout the city in the months after that. Her mother arrived in Deadend and started to work as a cop, she climbed fast in the ranks of the DEPD but one day, while on duty, she was murdered just below the window of Ming's bedroom above her club, The Lotus Club.

This made Ming change from a relaxed, happy woman into a venomonous snake, she vowed to deal with all who would oppose her and her close ones in the most cruel and sadistic way possible.

Then came the flood, one day..back in the history of Deadend the town went through a disaster, the riverbanks overflowed and the city was evacuated. Ming tried to save some important stuff from her club but when she tried to leave, the water was raging through the streets and there was no way for her to get away. Just as Ming accepted her fate of dying a little miracle happened. The famous crocodile of Deadend, which lived in the swamps and stalked the sewers when hungry, had been fed by Ming almost every few days in the past years, and the two had a strange bond. The animal came swimming , being pushed out of the sewers by the flooding and when she saw Ming standing in the door opening she used the weight of her body to make a living bridge for Ming to get to the safe side of the street and escape an imminent death.

Later Ming married a girl, Jane, who was a real psychophatic serial killer, they both opened a teahouse which was used as a facade for the secret cult they created, the Ling-Chi. They both lured victims in their web and once caught, their victims had to undergo the most cruel torture possible, sometimes Ming and Jane would even eat little pieces of flesh from their victims while they were still alive. After about a year of terrorising Deadend, Jane disappeared and Ming was alone again.

She picked up a job at the DEMH , working as a coroner, only to satisfy her hunger of cutting up bodies and use them for her 'medical' experiments. One of her famous creations is the Chiagra pill, which makes a female's genitals temporarily transform into a fully functional penis, she calls it the 'anti-rape pill'.

Ming worked her way up to Chief of Medicine in the DEMH and literally had the hospital in her own hands. But soon her father called her back to Hong Kong to deal with some.....not so nice people and she quit her job at the DEMH.
Although being happy to be with her family again she started to miss Deadend and went back. Soon after her return she managed to get a job as Forensic Pathologist in the DEPD and now she is working hard to extend her web of cruelty and fear to every corner of Deadend again and protecting the ones she cares about, one of them is Bean, a girl who climbed into Ming's heart before Ming even knew what was happening.

Characteristics: First impressions to strangers are: A beautiful, slender, sweet, caring ...sometimes clumsy girl who has problems talking and understanding English. But underneath that is a proud, cunning, manipulating female using her faked clumsiness and linguistic problems to give people a totally wrong impression about her, only to strike in an unexpected way when needed. But to her close ones she is different, her cousin Simone, Bean, her sisters, her brother, touch them and die, it is a simple way of thinking but it suffices for her, Ming will defend them with her own life if necessary.
