Midnight was just a code name given to her when she was a "hit-man" assassin. She is known as Rose to only those she trusts--which is very few.--

Her parents were assassin-spies working for the government when she was young. Her nanny, Gloria, raised her. On several occasions, Midnight would slip out to go skill training with her uncle, of which was an ex-secret agent for an unknown company. She has a passion for fighting and swords. She has trained with a sword all her life, and continues to use them. Her parents were caught, tortured, and killed when she was just 12, it drove her mad, she went through therapy and that didn't seem to help since she was focused on training harder, pushing herself beyond her limit with plans of vengence for her parents and no time for friends or lovers. When she turned 18 and finished High-School she got herself into a group of assassins who worked for.. themselves. They called themselves "hit-men," dealing with anyone willing to pay money for assassinations. With slight feelings of guilt at the first few men and women she killed, she kept telling herself "They are the bad ones, I help people." As time went by, she began to have no feelings for these people she was killing, and things became easier. When she turned 22 she realized that she'd been working at this for years and it hasn't gotten any better. She did not know who she was after or if she'd even killed the person or people that killed her parents.

When she was on the hunt for her last "hit" before she gave it all up, she met a girl. Turned out that the year of her 22nd birthday was a decent one. Midnight had fallen in love and gave up the last "hit" to one of her buddies in the group. This girl was amazing and beautiful, and had no idea of Midnight's background--which she didn't need to know.-- Midnight told her story minus what she had been doing for the last 4 years. This girl, Mira, didn't have much of a background minus the fact that she had been a bartender forever and studying to become a rad-tech. She had grown up in a small town, loved to be out, and loved to meet people. Her personality and looks made up for any boring detail. At this point, Midnight, not knowing what love felt like before, got in trouble for spilling background information to a common person and not completing a "hit." She was at the house reading when she had gotten a phone call. She was weary about answering it, because it was an odd number that she'd never seen. She answered the phone and it was "The Boss." She was informed that her recent buddy that she handed the "hit" off to was killed and this guy was after her and knew who she'd been in contact with. She dropped her phone when she heard sirens pass by the house. Worried, she picked up her sword and ran out of the house down to the local bar which was just a few streets away from her house at the time.

The sirens got louder as she neared the local bar. She saw several flashes of red and blue lights mingling together. As worry and fear overcame her, she ran faster to the door. Crime-Scene tape was all over the place, and she noticed someone being taken out of the building on a gurney into the ambulance. She ran over to it and saw Mira laying there in pain. Mira didn't make it through that night, and the madness Midnight once knew came back. She sought to kill the one who did this to her loved one. When she found him, she killed madly, separating him into parts and placed them in different parts of the town she lived in. Leaving the group of "hit-men," and dropping everything she knew in her hometown, she did not make Mira's funeral, regretting that someone she cared for got killed by her own careless mistake. She headed to Dead End to find new people to work with, and new people.

Midnight is known for a sharp-tongue and quick wit, normally getting her into trouble. She is highly tactful and cunning; and being as energetic as she is, she never strays from her responsibilities. She dosn't like talking about her past and has learned from her past mistakes about personal information. She may not be the best at hand-to-hand combat, but is deadly with a sharp object.
