PROPOSAL BY: docdarian resident
GROUP NAME: Dead Rabbits
FORUM ID:Doc Darian
MEMBERS: Docdarian Resident, Shade Manx, Tayla Razorfen, Seria Stormcrow
TYPE: Mafia
BACKSTORY: The Dead Rabbits are the name given to a group of Irish Travelers who are from not only Ireland but all over the United States. The are not well connected or well funded just like Most Gypsies across the planet, but they have their means. The means include using Rabbit's junkyard for fencing and removing of stolen goods via the NPC gypsy Camp located in the woods someplace between DE and CD. Shade was the leader of the group until her sex change and turn to law enforcement made her become looked down upon by her family. They sent in Doc to take the lead and give a direction they could trust. Seria and Tay were also brought in to assist Doc and Shade in the daily operation of not only the cover business.. The Junk yard, but also to make sure that Shade keeps true to her family. For what its worth Shade keeps her Gypsy roots close and helps with operation of such things as illegal fights, drug running, and fencing of stolen goods.. These are time honored traditions that they brought back from Ireland. The only NPC connection that they would have is the limited potential of the other camps in the area.. This is not a group that will be running around in Rolls Royces.. More like Rolls Canhardlies.. Rolls up one hill can hardly get up the next.
UNIQUE: The Dead Rabbits are neither a Mafia or a Gang.. they have more connections than one and stereotypically less money and influence than the other. They are going to be able to move some stuff, but usually at a low value. You will never see a Rabbit in a yacht, unless they are stealing engine parts. The fit is that they will be able to work with other groups as back up or muscle for some jobs.. They will be able to take a lead for others.. Depending on how you treat them they could be your best friend or your worst enemy.. Not above childish tricks to get their messages across.. The Gypsy story line has already been in Dead End for several months.. Getting approved as a faction would just be what it takes to give it a air of official.. Most of the actions that they take are based out of the Rabbit's Garage building in Dead End which is an approved business..
FLAW: Constantly broke. Some infighting about the changes with Doc taking the lead.. This of course is not an OOC problem because Shade and Doc are RL BF and GF..
POTENTIAL ENEMY: Its been going for a while already just as part of the Rabbit's business.. That being said, if someone more fitting or needing the group space to run properly we could keep it running under the banner of a business..
EXP:I can work with Shade who is in the group and usually sitting right beside me if anything is needed answered. I have worked with several Rp groups in the past and have usually made things happen as needed.
IDEAS:Ic as we go we can hire the group out as thugs and protection against other groups. With Shade and my alt Phury both on the Police department it makes protection a little bit easier. OOCly we are a close net group Rl who doesn't mind helping and we tend to consider ourselves fairly creative.
OTHER:Its been going for a while already just as part of the Rabbit's business.. That being said, if someone more fitting or needing the group space to run properly we could keep it running under the banner of a business..
