Over the next couple days, I'm hoping to finish up painting the blocks where buildings will stand in both DE and DF (Dead Fall). What's interesting now is there are 5 distinct entry points I hope to create from the OOC area and new landing areas from SL search:

- Downtown
- Uptown
- Red Light / Docks
- Asylum
- Outskirts

Downtown - You may have already seen this. Instead of landing into the far outskirts of the city, I've switched it to the subway station near the main square.

Uptown - This will actually be in Dead Fall (area behind the PD). There will be some brownstone/townhome type rentals and cleaner looking venues.

Red Light / Docks - Across the bridge, towards the waterfront, you'll find the docks and red light district. There's still heavy work to be done over the next couple days, but that will be the "even-more" seedy side of town.

Asylum - Speaks for itself.... far corner of the sim.

Outskirts - The woods/swamp area in Dead Drop, just at the border of DE.

It's pretty exciting to crank up the draw distance and pan back to see the city as a whole. From a build perspective, I've been replacing older buildings with new ones that I've standardized on textures (to reduce lag), peppered mesh components (ie. road intersections and turns), and built to scale.

When the dust settles within a week, there's still some work to be done underground (reconnecting buildings). I don't havea timeline on that yet, but I think there will be plenty of hiding holes in the new buildings and alleyways to drag your prey or make those ill deals.
