AnonymoussaidThis is one of those subjects that can and probably will cause offence to some but i think it's a trend that needs looking at so i'll post this anyway. As far as i know and, have been lead to believe, Dead End still exists as a kidnap role play sim. All encompassing of role play that any contemporary urban set sim would but with the RP aimed towards kidnap, BDSM, the erotic side of life. There are 'toys' and areas set out for those specific purposes. However, just in general i have noticed for more than since recently a lot of players here seem to only be concerned with violence, murder, drugs, things that i DO like and DO actively RP out on a more than regular basis ((Well apart from murder but that takes to much cleaning up ;p)). A lot of players seem to have fallen here from other sims that are combat orientated, lots of profiles with Mercenary groups and post apcoalyptic sims in them. The thing i'm getting at here is... there's plenty of urban sims out there, The Crack Den, Perdition etc... that offer these things and DE was and is unique in that it offered/offers something different. It's what makes DE what it is, without KRP and erotic, dark, funny, chaotic, fun storylines it'll just become another generic urban role play sim. Where people pick fights with each other, try to out do each other in the amount of weapons they can carry and well, i don't think that's very DE at all. Maybe i'm wrong but do most of us want DE to become a battle ground? |
