Born in Dead End to a doomsday prepping and pawn shop owning father. Jade lived a unique life. With her mother passing at her birth, her father was forced to raise her alone and taught her everything he knew about "prepping". Jade's father like many others didn't trust governments or people in general especially during a crisis. In his mind they would resort to crimes and violence. A man with a daughter and business definitely wants to protect what is precious to him. He's not the only one who thinks like this and there are possibly hundreds of thousands of others who think the same way. This is where "prepping" was born.

Preppers are people who prepare for a crisis. Depending on the crisis will depend how much and how well they prepare. The more reasonable type prepares for natural diseasters by having an extra place with food and shelter. However the more extreme types take it further. They'll stockpile weapons such as knives and guns. Train themselves in surviving in the wild, camping, farming, military tactics, how to use their firearms and so on. They would even go as far as to take themselves "off the grid" meaning they setup a system where they gain their own power and water and don't need city services. It is these extreme types that have made prepping popular. It is also this type that inspired Jade's father.

Growing up with a father like that, Jade learned many things. She learned how to camp, how to survive with a knife alone, how to make her own knife if needed. She learned how to cook, how to shoot, how to hunt and clean her food. She was contantly warned by her father of a coming crisis; either the governments were going to collapse and people would go crazy committing crimes just to survive or virus out break that kills hundreds of millions or another country will invade or an EMP would be launch sending us all into the dark ages again or... (you get the idea).

It was during her early teens that Jade began to doubt her father and all that he said. She didn't want to go camping as much as he did, she got tired of practicing with firearms and above all hated hearing the 101 ways the world was going to end. This form a rift between them and he started to calm down with is prepper talk however he didn't let Jade go out and be a kid. He was overly protective of her and she stood at home most of the time. Need some form of entertainment to keep her busy and at home, Jade's father got her a computer. Soon a nerd was born.

5 years growing up on the internet and Jade had become a full on nerd. Her father also stood home more often now too because of all the prepper videos, articles and websites he found. Jade however was lost in games, RP forums and social media. One day however everything changed. There was an explosion in the Pawn Shop with Jade's father in it. He died in the blast. The cops told her it was a gas leak explosion. She never believed it thanks to her father's teachings yet she was devestated by the lost of her only parent and she was a wreck. Luckily her uncle came to the rescue and took care of the funeral arrangements and Jade. Eventually he helped her out of Dead End.

Time past and Jade went to college thanks to her uncle's support and guidance. It was here she actually made friends outside of a computer yet it was thanks to the internet that she was even socialible enough to met others. These same friends knew how beautiful Jade and began encouraging her to change her looks. It started with a new hair style and make up. Eventually they started having her get new clothes and slowly but surely Jade gained her own fashion sense. In months to follow her popularity sored and the overflow of compliments began to give her a level of confidence that she could never lose.

However Jade was still that geeky girl who knew too much about anime and video games to really connect with men. The fact that she could beat most guys in Street Fighter didn't do well with their ego. Her intelligence, quarky personality and wit tend to be too much for many guys to handle. Yet her failed love life didn't stop her from living life to the fullest.

During her third year in college, she made a decision with her best friend to persue their modeling careers. It started with portraits they took and then they were able to get some guys to help them out and it didn't take long for them to fill out a profilio and have some material to show off. Once they were ready they left college to get their own place and pursue their careers full time.

2 years have passed and Jade still hasn't made any breaks with her modeling career however her friend was spearheading through her career and steadily getting bigger and bigger contracts. Jade was grateful for her friend's success who would always throw in a plug for her but not many seem to care about the nerdy redhead, especially after meeting her.

Yet Jade did manage to find a nitch on her own. Something rather unique. She was a youtuber. It started out as something to keep her busy and get the modeling agencies to see another side of Jade. However it soon grew into something bigger as she heard about people making fame and success off of youtube. So she started making different videos. Her first series was all about camping and politicians. Something her father embedded her to continiously follow and be up to date with everything. That gain little attention. Yet her modeling and clothing review videos did get her some attention. Mostly guys gawking and sending love letters.

Her big break was when she started to do videos of her playing video games. She began playing all sorts of games and many loved to hear her quirky remarks to the game's dialog and hear her reactions to shocking movements in the games. It was an instant success that got her much fame. However it's not as much as she likes and she isn't anywhere near making six figures just yet, however it was enough for her to move out and support herself.

She decided to move back to Dead End, her home town but did kept contacts with her good friend incase there was a chance for Jade to get into the modeling business. This is where Jade's Dead End story begins.
