Backround Story

Ivory was born in America while her parents were living there and running their casino hotel business. She has an 8 years older brother who goes through some special schooling in Austrialia and is living with relatives. He occasionally visits Florida just to spend quality time with his sister. Ivory’s parents brought her up as a strong determined girl keeping her in touch with the cultures of their native lands. Her dad loved boxing as a sport and made his daughter a little kick boxer from the age of 10 years old.

When Ivory turned 15, just after finishing highschool her parents had to move from Florida to Dead End due to new business opportunities. The city was horrible and Ivory didn’t like it at all, she constantly had fights with her parents. She was anti social and she secluded herself within her writings and arts. She even started writing a book. For those 3 years she was in dead end, her brother didn’t manage to visit.

At the beginning of her fourth year in dead end, just after she turned eighteen, their home got occupied by robbers in the middle of the night which caused Ivory to get out of bed to investigate. While they seemed to be in the process of searching the house, Ivory’s parents were already there trying to deal with them and had guns out which utterly confused the girl because she never knew her parents owned guns, but due to Ivory’s sudden appearance, her parents got distracted plus worried so they got shot by the robbers right before her eyes. Ivory was frozen and stunned in place but she noticed one person along with the robbers, with masks, wearing a police uniform which totally lowered any hopes she had of trying to even call the police.

The three men tied her up and asked her questions about hidden documents of her parents which she had no clue off, the one dressed as a cop sexually harassed her but couldn’t go that far because the next door neighbors heard the gun shot and alerted the police and the cop that was present warned the other two men so they had time to escape while this cop played hero. Ivory was questioned by the authorities who didn’t believe much of what she said due to the other cop’s statement and he tried to frame her for her own parents’ murder.

Ivory thought she was going to rot in jail forever until her brother flew back to America and bailed her out, dealt with a few loose ends then flew her back with him to Australia. She didn’t know how he did it, nor did she ask. She was in shock for a few days, speaking less but still moving on with life, she enrolled into university and decided to take up journalism. Ivory tried to commit suicide at one point which her brother prevented and got her to seek help.

She was diagnosed with Paranoia and major depressive disorder which was apparently something she had way before the incident that opened her up to it more. Through counseling and great support from her brother and relatives, she managed to get back on her feet, go through her university and even take the units in advance to quicken her graduation. She underwent two years of treatment and when she graduated, her psychiatrist declared her fit.

She decided she wanted to go back to Dead End and conquer the fears and misery that the place brought her. She didn’t tell her brother that she wanted to get revenge as well but she managed to convince him to let her go and once she is settled she will inform him so he can visit her.

Ivory still had so many questions and so little answers. So many hidden secrets within her own family that she is unaware about and may probably never know about unless she knows the right person. Ivory continued practicing kick boxing in her free time. She also had a passion for arts, writing and music which she plans to implement in her visit, record every person she meets. Look out for the few innocent people left and punish the guilty in her own way...slow but painful.
