In the recent months I have noticed a worrying development, mind you, this is -my- observation, I may be totally wrong or seeing it from a wrong perspective, and I would be really happy if someone proves me wrong here. Lately I have the feeling that romance and sweetness in Deadend is getting more and more common. Of course, nothing wrong with that but in my opinion, the balance is gone. Almost everyone is ICly befriended with everyone....I am not talking about IC family relations but more...like..everyone is protecting everyone.
I compare this current situation to that of like..a year or two ago. I remember Dee and the Hellcats roaming the streets, scaring the shit out of everyone. I remember that one guy in the DEFD always trying to rile up cops when there was a fight or accident. I miss those things...
Friendship and families are great but they should not be unconditional, let me give you an example, of course this is about the Yhengs. For any Yheng, family ties is the most important , BUT if Ming sees one of hers fuck up really bad, she is like: "You dropped shit, clean it yourself" or..this: Ming has recently been raped by one of her own family.

Deadend is supposed to be a dark urban sim, fights, kidnappings, torture, rape...but I see more cuddling, romantic relations, sweet cookies than a dark side. Of course, I don't see everything that is going on, I am not online 24/7, that is why I said I could be totally wrong. But it does worry me and I do think we all should consider the very foundation on which the rp theme in DE is built.
