Growing up in California all of her life, she lived in a smaller town away from the glitz and glamour of the high life. With her brother off at a fancy school in England to better his life, she laid low at the community college near their hometown. Constantly emailing her brother back and forth during her second year now in college, he tells her of all the fascinating things that he had encountered throughout working abroad. Io was tired, tired of the same old boring life of her small town nothingness. Without talking to anyone, she got her stuff packed up as there wasn't much of it and set off after randomly picking a spot on the map. Io had bought the bus ticket, pushed her things into the bottom of the bus and set off for this red pin on a map that she had allocated as her new home... Hathian City. Upon arrival into the city she toyed with what she was going to do with her life, go back to college or start new.

Io took herself to the pizza shop that she had spotted as she had arrived and gathered her thoughts there, meeting a few new people. Decidedly so she took up going back to school and gathered her items to head to Columtreal University to get herself together and transfer her life over. One night she opened her laptop seeing many emails from her parents and brother worried about her as the school said she had disappeared randomly. Ignoring the fact that she had no job and no money, she set off one day to find a job only to make her way back to the pie hole pizzeria where she had first landed when she arrived. Talking with the manager (npc manager) there she was hired oddly enough possibly due to the manager wanting a break for sure.

While making pizza, studying and meeting new people she thinks that the job is going well as people must like her pizza making skills. Even if she burns herself, dances randomly while cleaning up and trips over her own two feet while serving the customers. After a while the city made her the decided owner of the Pie Hole in Hathian after her hard work and dedication within the business. Organizing and working with many for the events the community had to offer.

Halloween came and io was hiring a new employee while a man with a mask came to the front of the building with a mask on and a machete, tapping on the glass to scare the women who were inside. After his feeble attempts to do such she stayed calm until he came in and raised his machete and screamed 'DIE' at the woman while trying to hack them up. After the police were called and io and her new employee had several deep lacerations, she got scared not knowing what happened to the man. So she decided to venture out on a bus, ending her up in DE.
