AnonymoussaidI’ve been playing a Dead End Police character since I joined second life and in fact it was Dead End that drew me to second life in the first pace. Over the months I have seen officers come and go and it seems very difficult to retain them as thy loose interest and move on. I can see how it happens because when you first join you don’t really have an idea what you should or can do and you don’t know any of the characters. Also a lot of RP is going on and you don’t really have an idea what it is about because you weren’t on line when it happens. The question is how do we make it more interesting so we can retain officers? I’ve tried the approach of having a morning briefing which lists all the Incidents that have occurred and listing all things that still need to be done such as witnesses to see or people to arrest but unfortunately people are not really picking up on it and also there is a lot of stuff happening that I haven’t heard about so It gets missed off the briefing and disappears off in to the ether. Has any body out there got any other ideas to make officers want to stay in Dead End? ❓ |
