DE Goes Gunnin'!

So you all have probably heard the rumors in the air that something new was coming. This has been something that has been promised to us for some time and we have pushed for it. We are getting guns.
Before you panic, please read on. This system will be extremely controlled by Admins and only approved players who have proven they play fair will be able to use firearms.

In addition, the use of guns and how they are used as tools in RP will be extremely controlled.

Right now we do not have a formal system. This is something completely put in place by the Admins with the okay of nadir for us to give a try. If this works successfully, we will work towards a more formal system like CD has.

Still, our criteria and rules very much in line with what you would expect. Rules will be strict regarding guns and the application is long and not for the faint of heart. This is with a purpose because we will not be handing out guns to anyone and everyone.

Who can carry guns?
Only approved characters. There will be three roles:
DE Armed Deviants
DE Armed DEPD
DE Armed DEFD

Being a part of these roles without guns does not automatically grant you a gun. Please read the Firearm Guide to view all of the criteria in becoming armed.

How do I apply?

Right now until we have a formal system things will be forum based and you will find the link to the application below.

How long does it take to get approved?
Since Admins will be hand approving applications, please allow up to 10 days. We will work to get you the tags as soon as possible but we don't know how high the demand may be.

The official launch of these tags and the use of guns in RP will begin on 7/18/2017. Anyone who has been approved at this time with a tag will be allowed to carry.

Keep in mind this is new to us all, these rules have been put in place in the interest of all players and are subject to change as we see the need. We will announce anytime that is the case.

We do not want to micromanage the use of guns, so follow the rules, use your head and we will all be just fine.
