Faerie LindleysaidThis is for a leadership change <b>Static Bandits</b> TYPE: Street Gang MEMBERS: irclaire resident, luthien36 BACKGROUND: The bandits have been a part of Dead End for a while now,And built up a reputation for causing trouble. Initially founded on the premise of individuals within the group causing chaos, an almost anarchistic set up, allowing each member to do their own thing whilst operating under the broad umbrella of the bandits faction. This fundamental premise upon which the faction was established will still remain. However, under the guidance of Uncle Bob, I will seek to try and organise more coordinated attacks, on businesses and citizens alike. Funding Will always be an ongoing concern, often the need for cash flow providing the impetus for jobs to be done. Although ranks within the bandits presently don't exist, this is something I would like to change, having captains, in order to help with the organising, and hopefully better provide a sense of group identity. something that I feel has been lacking from the faction, and hopefully can be recognised by underpinning the anarchistic values with a more collective spirit. (I do appreciate that anarchistic thinking is completely antithetical with a collective, this is a means of a slight transition, and allowing for both types of thinking within the group) UNIQUE: The darkroom will be the front, it is where Bob can be found most of the time, people can expect a mix of rp that will remain consistent with the mission statement of the darkroom, the emphasis upon that being a BDSM club will not be compromised, they will also deal with Bob who can be quite calculating in his pursuits, and often faction business won't be a topic of discussion, the recognition of only certain people being appropriate for that kind of activity, and making sure to keep the darkroom primarily a BDSM club, rather than a faction clubhouse. FLAW: The major flaw within this faction is the conflict that will inevitably emerge as a result of some of Bob's less than savoury pursuits against the fact that there will be members within the group who do not necessarily approve of this kind of pursuit. Furthermore, as with any anarchistic group, there is always the trouble with coordinating their efforts in order to achieve a common goal. POTENTIAL ENEMY: Presently, the bandits are aligned with the rabbits, the natural enemy to this group is of course the syndicate, and it is likely that the bandits will align with the rabbits until this threat is neutralised. EXPERIENCE: I have been role-playing in dead end for some time now, and I am very familiar with the sim, I consider myself a very approachable person, and have been a member of the bandits faction for a number of months too, having undertaking numerous role-plays in the name of the faction. I believe myself to have a good reputation on sim, and has now been running the darkroom, with (what I consider to be) success for a couple of months now, lending to my leadership credentials IDEAS: the faction will always be on the lookout for new members, obviously those members will need to show that their characters are of a certain disposition, but hopefully by creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere within the group and this will help new players thrive in Dead End OTHER: Presently, the bandits are aligned with the rabbits, the natural enemy to this group is of course the syndicate, and it is likely that the bandits will align with the rabbits until this threat is neutralised. |
