First Entry...Sunday, March 4th, 7:30 PM.

Just found this beaten down, but awesome city called Dead End. Seems like a nice place for a guy like me to hang out at. And just so you know, I'm not big on words, so my journal entries are going to be rather brief, unless of course, I happen to land that job as a police officer.

Oh yeah, and speaking of which...My father used to be a policeman before he died. I'd rather not talk about him. Ya know...Personal family business and all. But let's just say, if my father knew I was thinking about joining the force, he'd either be very proud of me or he'd fear for my life. He-He...

Oh well. I made a promise to obey and uphold the law and I mean it. I will do everything I can to make sure the law is followed and criminals are caught; justice will be delivered on swift wings, and so on.

Well, today was an interesting day. I met a guy working at the police station. He was friendly and helpful and told me where to find the local gym, as well as a pizzaria and a theater. I did a brief workout at the gym and then went to check out the pizza place. Unfortunately, there was nobody working there when I got there.

Shucks...And I was really hoping to buy myself a cold soda and a slice of pizza.
