I was having a talk with someone today and i thought back to a recent thread started by Nadir regarding treatment of new people. It made me think of something i said in the forums earlier today. *We are a family here, many have been friends for years.* DE has come a long ways since my first av stepped foot here. That being said we can always do more to help promote the sim.

So what im proposing at each and every one of us, find a new face on the sim. 1 a week is all im asking. Not a face you look at and say, i want to get to know that one, his or her profile sounds good and i could use said person for my place of work, gang, or to get laid.
Make it one you wouldnt consider for one of those roles, give them a hour, take them around, introduce them to people. Sure we will all find someone we will say....damn that was a wasted hour. But think of the good ones we have given a real welcome to, in that hour they can meet a few people and not have to struggle to get a line of rp going. 1 hour a week to help promote the place we all call home, seems like a win win deal all the way around. More people see us as a friendly place, maybe it wont be so hard for someone to get a story line going. Even if its only a half hour it helps. I can remember when i first walked into DE, i was shy....well still am. Dont laugh its true, but i struggled for weeks. Lets see if we can make it a better place for all involved, who knows you just might find the next diamond in the rough the sim has been waiting for.
