Hello everyone...ghost of Deus here. I am, in rl, very much alive. I made it online in world today to apologize for disappearing. I know, as someone who has been in sl for 7 years, that it is hard not knowing what happened to someone. I had met someone in rl shortly before "disappearing", and was also going through some transitional things with my kids...have since purchased a second home and have begun renovations on it. The person I was dating ended up suddenly moving in with me, which was when I "disappeared". The first two weeks I kept thinking that I really needed to get online and let everyone know what was going on...but as time went by I decided it was probably less urgent as I figured life in sl had moved on and I was probably forgotten by that point. But I did finally make it on today.

I just want to be clear that while I may drop in here and there, I have no intentions of disrupting any kind of current rp that is going on. Andi and I, for those that I'm sure are wondering, had a brief "closure" scene for our characters. If I log in I will mostly just sit deus at a bar somewhere and if anyone would like to come by and rp with me, great 🙂 Or I'm always up for IM conversation as well.

Deus' current storyline is that he had been dragged off by bounty hunters to a jail with crooked cops. He was not read rights, was not allowed a phone call or a lawyer...which is why he was eventually released early from jail. Deus roleplay be one of heartbreak, anger and bitterness. He may become somewhat of the town drunk....he will mostly lurk in shadows (be offline)....but will occasionally pop in at a bar and maybe cause some trouble (online).

Again, I just want to apologize for skipping ship, but hope that everyone will understand that balancing sl and rl has been a challenge for me for 7 years. It's rather addictive (as I'm sure some of you can understand). I will mostly be in my rl now...but hope that you all will welcome this type of occasional rp from me. I hope everyone has been having fun and am looking forward to occasionally hearing the story lines.
