I have a proposal for an RP around the Corruption in DEPD.
The main gist is that we are to look like we are ethical and moral cops on the outside, while in the shadows far from the public eye, we can be just as corrupt as the criminals we put away.
Here’s the proposal;
I’m looking at setting up an on-going story involving helping gangs in their drug running more actively, and as a department.
The intention is; key contacts in PD, are setup with the various gangs in the city, we actively help the gangs move their drugs, we get a 50% cut for the precinct and still manage to look like we're just patrolling regularly. Being as inconspicuous as possible.
This activity will be directed at those of Officer and above . Why??;
Well.. (and this is a general rule on any level of corruption)
By their very nature, Rookies are new and learning the ropes. They should know how to do their jobs properly before getting into any sort of crime spree. Without a thorough knowledge of the systems in which they’re operating, cant work out where to bend the rules.
This helps our more seasoned officers keep it covert.. Also, not everyone in PD is corrupt, or not corrupt to the level of being interested in the drug running scene. If that’s you… then the 'Inner Crime Circle' Of PD will need to try to keep the corruption of the precinct as far away from your eyes as possible.
The fact remains, we are Dead End's finest. This will hopefully add another dimension to the roleplay, and help keep it interesting.
