Something which is on my wishlist for a long time already, and since Flak has brought the professionality of the DEPD to a much higher level than it was ever before in the last three years, I think it is time to enhance the roleplay scenes and have the option to call in assistance of the HPD and vice-versa. After all, DE and CD are sister-sims, I like to look at them as two cities not too far away from eachother, something like New York City and New Jersey...
I have no worked out plan here in front of me so I like to see this as a start of the discussion and if Nadir gives the go ahead, work this out in deeper detail.
Of course I have asked if Flak supports this too, otherwise I wouldn't have started this thread.

Let me start with some basic ideas, they are only my ideas, feel free to burn them down but please keep this thread focused on the topic: cross-sim interaction between the DEPD and the HPD.

Some points I like to make:

1) The interaction should only be initiated, case by case, by members of the DEPD and HPD of higher ranks, e.g. Lieutenants and the Captain.

2) Only when really necessary assistance from the other police dept. should be asked. Like when there isn't enough personell available in one sim.

3) 'Guest officers' should always be under the command of a superior in the sim they are called to.

4) I do not know if this is feasible, but the HPD and the DEPD should be able to join eachothers 'Law Enforcement' radio channel for coordination matters.

5) DEPD members should walk at least one day along in Hathian with a HPD officer, HPD members should walk at least one day in Deadend with a DEPD officer.

6) This one is important, I think...: DEPD officers are not allowed to do police work in Hathian unless specifically commanded by their DEPD superiors, HPD officers are not allowed to do police work in Deadend unless specifically commanded by their HPD superiors. So no sim hopping when you are bored.
