I have recently put on the uniform and had since addressed to 2 cases of crime.

I must say I am proud to be apart of DEPD. However, during my course of duty, I encountered uncertainties from the citizens and the business owners especially. There were news of corruption and how people detest the police force for pressing their weight around and pushing people with threats psychologically.

I am deeply concern by the acts and feedback from the citizens living in our neighbourhood. What could have been wrong?

Today, I was doing my rounds when i witness a dispute at the station. There was a suspect apprehended by another officer and they were about to conduct an interoggation session on the suspect. There is another non official with her that identify himself as a lawyer and was demanding the rights to speak with his client.

In the police force was threaten by an armed criminal (lawyer so to speak) with at least 2 kg of C4s. We had no fighting power against this criminals. We had to free the suspect... to ensure safety.

2 hours later, a stabbing incident happened at the same bar where the suspect was apprehended.

I propose we have a standard protocol against armed criminals, i urge the commander of the police force to look into the matter to regain the confidence of the citizens in the neighbourhood, we need to set a standard against threats that may harm the well being of the people and the offier on duty also.
