Hey Folks!

I am wondering if there are any service providers in DE. I have to wonder with the response I am getting in my own business (Screw It Yourself Hardware) for anything from delivery, set up and repair if there isn't a need for people to rp some basic everyday services that could lead to some rp enrichment. What has crossed my mind time and again are that of carpenters, plumbers, gassiers (for all those broken windows!) home cleaning services, courrier services, landscaping, appliance repair... the list in my mind goes on. These aren't things that need specific groups or places of business set up- many people in RL do these things right out of their own homes. and could be a good way to introduce new people (or those who are not one often, haven't found a niche) to those that they may not meet other wise. And.. let's not forget the porn potential for isolation of victims. Being moved in on by a lecherous employer is not just for the maid and pool boys! And then there is that "in" for theft or other misdeeds. Some of these services could be advantageous as a moonlighting position to supplement any regular DE employment.

If it is a matter of connecting, I would be happy to help facilitate any of these random service providers. I may look into a post board for the hardware store (any suggestions of a good one are welcome; I hate shopping) so that people wandering the sim might be able to post that kind of service for any to check.
