BACKGROUND: One of the things that is lacking in the current setup of the DEPD and the DA/Justice is a bail system. Currently, the person (totally innocent, I'm sure) either waits out his/her sentence, or they have an extremely 'wealthy' friend come and bail them out. End of story. A person who wishes to continue their rp with the legal system could opt for Bail - with the approval of the arresting officer. Minimal information would need to be exchanged between the Player, PD, DA , and TIBB's. This would include the bail amount, and if the person intends to skip or repay. Repayment would be in the form of cash (plus my 10%) or in the form of favors (information, errands, etc....) My primary role with The Syndicate is 'Eyes and Ears.' This role would fit perfectly with that, especially if repayment of the bail fee is in the form of information. Bounty Hunters (BH) would be screened and accepted for employment only after they had read and agreed to the sim combat guidelines. Meta/Powergaming will not be tolerated - and should be reported to me as soon as possible. However, BH's would also be given leeway in determining the methods used in recovering the bail money. Bounty Hunters, Players, and the Arresting Officer would also be responsible for coordinating rp if it's determined that the player is to be brought back to jail to face additional charges.

EXPERIENCE:I have been a member of the community for 10 months now. In that time I have been the manager of the Pharaoh's Bookstore, Corleone's Restaurant, and TKO Studios. I am also an active member of The Syndicate, yet maintain a good relationship with the leadership of the PD. The Bail Bondswoman role would not only help me to get more involved in the community, but more importantly, would provide added rp - and storyline - for those who aren't members of any faction.
