warumono-modesaidstrong>The Cinema TYPE: SLURL: BACKGROUND: Kirvi has an inclination for being social and gathering together groups of people together on a whim, or planned out events. The Cinema is the perfect place for the social butterfly to nest, as it is a business in the center of main street and surrounded by special businesses that are active, and the Cinema needs to rejoin that active fold. Kirvi is scatterbrained at times and this will be her downfall, she is impulsive from a brain injury, and will need to lean on employees as a team to work the business. This is a potential route for welcoming new employees and current employees, giving them responsibilities and tasks both in the business and around the city to keep the generation of role-play going. Tasks may include delivering pirated movies to and from businesses, or getting porn clips from Spunk to discreetly pop into movies, or not so discreet, also tasking to run the counter, sell candy, promote sales and coupons like bring your bag popcorn nights, filling any type of bag. Having regular events, and specials will keep the business active and employees involved in the cinema's happenings. A few of the events I would like to run are live-theater nights, where patrons are asked to dress up or act out movies. For example, dumping actual pigs blood on the audience while playing Carrie. While I realize playing or, rather, not playing the actual movie on screen for live theater nights may take away from the immersiveness, it's more about the role-play, interacting with others during a 'movie' or live performance rather than actually watching the movie...save that for real life! A few other event ideas are community theater performances on Holidays, putting firemen or police in silly costumes. The cinema can promote businesses advertising as well, this will give the cinema a way to interact and network with other business as well as generating role-play for them as well. The downstair's open space is great for live band performances, public victim torment if one desired to put on such a performance, and is a place where diversity can thrive. I want the motto to be anything can go at the cinema, because players will experience both traditional cinema role-play as well as fun, dark, horrifying entertainment experiences. UNIQUE: The Cinema is unlike any other entertainment business, such as the Dark Room or LuLu's. There's no liquor, groceries, or promise of loud music you can dance to on a regular basis. Bringing people in through having updated movie events, clipping in porn in between some movies. The business can start being known for their exciting theater nights, and parties. EXPERIENCE:I've managed the Gein Burger in Crack Den, a business right in the center of town and has great potential for generating role-play, much like the Cinema in Dead End. I've coordinated official business events, and worked with other leaders to network rp businesses together to generate more role-play for both. I work with others well, no drama, and am able to guide players with tasks for a business to keep them active and involved. IDEAS:Events and being actively at the Cinema. When people are around a building roleplaying, it usually pulls more people in, they get curious on what is going on there, and that's when you engage them, pull them in, make them feel welcomed. With the cinema being right on main street, a lot of players teleport into the bus stop just meters away, the cinema is prime property for engaging new players on the sim, and players who could potentially start working at the cinema. Events are another huge target for pulling workers into the business, as well as roleplaying with the public to get the Cinema's name out there. OTHER:If I was approved, the Grand Re-Opening would be a rave, with candy and sweet treats laced with ecstacy. I would have laser lights on the ceiling strobing up main street to announce that the Cinema is open for business once again with new leadership! DJed music if possible, and an article in the news, as well as promotion on twitter for the grand reopening so that everyone would be invited to join the rave. |
