GROUP NAME: Tattoo Parlour

BACKSTORY: The Tattoo Parlour will be a new business venture started by Oaf on her return to DE. She's been gone for years and during that time retrained as a tattooist which she now sees as her career and calling. The tattoo parlour will operate as a legitimate business in Deadend offering work for players who are interested in more detail oriented rp that doesn't necessarily have a criminal focus. Jobs offered will likely be: Tattooist, piercer, apprentice, receptionist. The aim is to provide an opportunity for anyone on the sim to rp as either customer or employee, rounding out their character with the more mundane aspects of urban life. I also hope to combine this legitimate aspect of Oaf's character with the more subversive Fight Club, using hallucinogens in inks to facilitate capture and forced fights. This is an entirely personal aim though. The tattoo parlour itself and it's employess will not be part of Fight Club, unless of course they want to be.

UNIQUE: This is the kind of rp that isn't necessarily about the epic but is more detail oriented. The general idea is to offer the kind of work that doesn't necessarily have to be for the criminal element but is distinctly urban and alternative in it's focus. It's the kind of business that's often found in low rent urban districts, so it's completely relevant and culturally significant. There's also not a slutty girl in sight. Well there probably will be but they won't be employed by the parlour. It's the kind of play that facilitates immersiveness.

EXP:I am Oaf!! Seriously, I've been involved in DE for longer than I care to think. I already have relationships with management so that's an aspect that's already facilitated and I also have admin experience, plus experience of running an active group.

IDEAS:OOC, this kind of immersive, work oriented group is a great teaching tool for rp. IC, a tattoo parlour adds flavour and cultural relevance to the city. By it's nature, it's not naturally given to the big event but we can definitely offer special price days and recruitment drives to expand participation.
