BACKSTORY: The Tea House is a tranquil and relaxed oasis of calm in this chaotic city. Relax and sip high quality teas, enjoy a conversation with a Geisha or watch her dance, listen to Shamisen music or receive a nice Japanese massage in the basement or participate in one of the Japanese cultural events. On special occasions the teahouse can also serve Sake, but that is not to be enjoyed alone. Teashops are traditionally places where people do business, learn about rumors or even exchange sensitive information. Teahouse owners are information brokers. But that's always hidden behind a smile and a curtain. Because in the heart of the teahouse is the Geisha. A Geisha is not a prostitute, like many Westerners believe. Geisha's are living pieces of art, dedicated to dancing, playing music, singing and of course conversation arts. The tea ceremony is only a very small part of the repertoire of skills a Geisha has to master. Her tasks are many, from entertaining customers to smoothing deals, from capturing the attention to helping certain things to remain hidden. Suki kept working in the teahouse after Ming left the city, but she has little understanding about running a business. In Japan she would not be considered to be ready to be a Geisha just yet, let alone be the mother of a Teahouse. Yet she has no choice but to try. Fortunately she has met someone who wants to fund the Teahouse to be a meeting place where deals can be made and broken, a place to enjoy art and a place to relax and behind all that, a place to retrieve and exchange information.

UNIQUE: The teahouse in itself is already a unique place, offering not only tea, but also Geisha dancing, Japanese cultural events like Karaoke night and Japanese music. However, by making it a center for dealing and exchanging information, it has enough extras to keep drawing people to it. Finally the sexual innuendo and teasing will offer a lot of fun I hope. it will be such a nice challenge to keep the Teahouse decent and maintain a level of shyness to everything. Shadows, mystery and alluring service, that's what the Teahouse will stand for.

EXP:Suki has been roleplaying for some time now in the teahouse, after she was adopted by Ming as her daughter. Her typist is quite experienced with roleplaying in Dead End with other characters as well and also leading a business (the Shelter for seven months).

IDEAS:The idea is to organize various Japanese events in the teahouse. Suki will give Geisha dancing performances as well as dancing lessons. She also performs on the Shamisen, perform tea ceremonies and maybe celebrate the change of the seasons in a Shinto manner. Another idea is to organize a karaoke night. In the basement the teahouse will offer various massages, some even erotically relaxing (by hand of even orally). However, the teahouse offers no sexual intercourse. That's why it can be called a Tease House and not a sex club.

OTHER: Suki Utsukii was born in Japan and raised to carry in the family tradition of the Geisha way. But her father had gotten into some quarrels with some Yakusa family and they retaliated in an extreme manner. Suki witnessed her parents being murdered and to keep her silent she was kidnapped and shipped off to America. She ended up in Dead End where she was intercepted by the Shelter Angels and then adopted by Ming Yheng as her daughter. Over the months Suki has learned English and worked mostly in the teahouse. Over time Suki did very well as a Geisha in the teahouse, until someone kidnapped her and sold her off to the Darkroom, where she got abused. She did become close friends with Fae, the owner of the Darkroom, but Ming saw that differently. She was forbidden to meet Fae again. Because of the whole adventure Suki has gotten in touch with her sorrow and her feelings for revenge and to use that, she has taken on the habit of wearing her mother's hairpiece, which has a dagger hidden inside. Suki doesn't hesitate to kill or wound those that obstruct the family honor or the honor of the Teahouse. Since Ming left Dead End, Suki feels she has to carry on carrying the honor of the Yheng family name. She will do that in her own quirky way of course, always choosing cuteness over effectiveness, clumsy as she sometimes can be.
