warumono-modesaidSpunk R Us TYPE: SLURL: BACKGROUND: In the best interest of Spunks and the RLD, I want to try move the business into a cleaner less shameful light in Dead End, and open it up sim wide to make it more accessible to everyone, in the spirit of continuing Jimmy’s work in cleaning up the RLD. I propose to do these things by adding to our current services and events. The event and service proposals I have in mind are slightly less seedy and would add to our current events giving the ability to draw in people from all walks of life regardless of their stations. Some examples of these services and events will include but are not limited to (this leaves the option for staff input) Spunks sponsored Bachelor and Bachelorette parties which will include things like finding locations, catering and anything else the patron may require. This can also include displays of Spunks inventory with brief instruction on how to use said items and the offer of being able to purchase the items during the party. Moving onto the newer event ideas, I’d like to propose a sim-wide model search and talent event that would draw in veteran and new employees’ alike out into the city of DE to scout for talent and offer jobs to varying players new or otherwise. This would coincide with my second idea for a new event, which would be a Spunks hosted street fashion event that would utilize models acquired from the previous month’s event (the talent scout) to show off the latest inventory acquisitions in bondage and fetish gear sold by Spunks. Because it is a street event it will also pave the way for other RLD businesses to participate, in keeping with the concept in participation I’d like to introduce a new staff policy that based on the principle of the buddy system. When new hires come in interested in learning and participating in RP, I would like to pair them with veteran staff in the hopes of promoting more RP opportunities for all employees. I would also like to promote amongst the staff, new and old an open door policy which allows them to come to me with event ideas and must not be limited to ideas alone; I would greatly appreciate their help in the planning of and putting those events in motion. Offering yet again more opportunity for RP. I feel that I am an effective manager because I stand firm in my belief in being easily approachable, non judgmental, level headed while still respecting proper RP etiquette and sim rules, while I do not believe in micro-managing. I do believe in following through as much as I believe that working from the ground up has offered me a unique perspective on the positions and day to day operations at Spunks. UNIQUE: Due to the nature of the business and the items sold, Spunks already stands out. However what I can uniquely offer in this instance is consistent encouragement and ideas that will bring Spunks RP to other members of DE, not necessarily forcing them to come to us. Therefore opening the avenue of interest and curiosity and drawing them down to the RLD. EXPERIENCE:I again stand firm in my belief, that every voice, big or small, should be heard in all regards with an open minded philosophy. When speaking on the matter, when speaking of personal qualities, a leader is nothing without people willing to follow. This is not to say, that people should follow me blindly. Only to suggest that I have the capability of cultivating ideas, needs and wants and the want within myself to help others put those needs, wants and ideas into action and see them grow as I did. To offer the same guidance, support and assistance that was shown to me as I established myself in DE. I believe all of these things to be the qualities of a great leader. IDEAS:I believe with my new service and event ideas I will be capable of encouraging new and old players alike to go out into the city and suburbs of DE. While doing this, newer players will not only have an opportunity to observe, participate and learn during new RP via the buddy system with veteran Spunk staff players, but also learn the physical layout of the city and all it has to offer. OTHER:If approved it is my intention to hold a Spunks staff meet and greet followed up by a masquerade street party later in the evening that all of DE is invited to attend in the hopes of encouraging those that would prefer to remain anonymous to come down and see a revitalized Spunks and a cleaner RLD. |
